It does little good to mouth “Praise God” and to prattle on about God’s deity unless our own lives are marked by conspicuous evidence of his character. God’s holiness is displayed in the righteousness of his children’s lives. If we live unrighteous lives, his character is profaned (see Amos 2:7).
